Do I have to pay to use Boutstream?
No, Boutstream is free to use for most users. You can access all the core features—like roster management, event creation, and team sign-ups—without any cost. We believe in providing valuable tools to the wrestling community at no charge.
When are fees applied, and who pays them?
Fees are only applied when processing payments through Boutstream, such as collecting team dues or event registration fees. The transaction fee is deducted from the payouts to coaches and event administrators. This means the person making the payment (e.g., parents registering their child for an event) pays only the amount specified, and the fee is subtracted from the organizer's proceeds.
How much are the transaction fees for payment processing?
We charge a small transaction fee of 6% + $0.50 per transaction. This fee is deducted from the payouts to coaches and event admins to cover the costs of secure payment processing and to help us maintain and improve the platform.
For example:
- Transaction Amount: $20 (event registration fee)
- Total Paid by Participant: $20
- Transaction Fee: $20 x 6% + $0.50 = $1.70
- Amount Received by Organizer: $20 - $1.70 = $18.30
Is payment processing on Boutstream secure?
Absolutely. We use trusted payment gateways to ensure all transactions are secure and encrypted. Your financial information is protected with industry-standard security measures, so you can process and receive payments with confidence.
Can I use Boutstream without using the payment processing features?
